As of 01/01/2018, the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) has started the implementation of the SASO Water Efficiency Labeling program for faucets, showers and toilets based on the new Water Efficiency Regulation and their water efficiency consumption rates. Manufacturers, importers, exporters and shipping companies now have to have their products tested and labeled according to the SASO Water Efficiency Labeling program from an Accredited organization so that they can easily pass the goods through customs and continue exporting smoothly.
