Saudi Arabian Standard Organization (SASO) 2902 is the energy efficiency standard for lighting products. Manufacturers that will export to Saudi Arabia must ensure that their lighting products comply with the standards. At the same time, it should take the energy efficiency label and stick it on the products. A batch sample of at least twenty (20) lamps or ten (10) luminaires of the same model should be checked and tested. If a model within the registered product family fails, all models under the same product family are automatically deregistered.
